New Ways to Finance Health Promotion & Disease Prevention – The Invest4Health Project

The Invest4Health Horizon Europe project is organising an online workshop as part of the European Public Health Week, focusing on innovative approaches to financing health promotion and disease prevention.

Titled “New ways to finance Health Promotion and Disease Prevention: The Invest4Health project and Smart Capacitating Investment as an approach for scaling public health initiatives long-term”, the webinar will introduce Smart Capacitating Investment (SCI) as a novel financing model. The session will explore how SCI can support the scaling and long-term sustainability of participatory public health initiatives.

Participants will also be introduced to a potential Invest4Health SCI offering and will have the opportunity to provide feedback and express interest in future collaboration.

The event is open to a broad audience, including public health professionals, researchers, policymakers, NGOs, civil society organisations, well-being industry actors, intermediary organisations, social enterprises, foundations, charities, regional health authorities, patient organisations, and anyone interested in innovative health financing solutions.

Invest4Health is a Horizon Europe and UKRI-funded research and innovation project that brings together leading European academic and innovation partners in health and social care. Its mission is to develop and mobilise innovative financial models for health promotion and disease prevention.
