New regions join Invest4Health

Following the closure of our Open Call on March 14, which received seventeen applications, we are excited to select and welcome a new group of regional testbeds to the Invest4Health project.

These regions, chosen from the applications we received, will help test and refine innovative financial and investment models for health promotion and disease prevention. Their participation will allow us to gather more real-world experiences and improve how economic resources are used to create healthier communities.

The new testbeds will benefit from capacity-building activities, training, and simulation exercises to help them implement sustainable financial and business models. They will join our existing testbeds from Germany, Spain, Sweden, and the UK, too, allowing for valuable knowledge exchange and collaboration.

By participating in this initiative, the new regions will:

• Gain expert guidance on innovative financing models.
• Learn how to attract investment for health promotion initiatives.
• Develop practical strategies to involve citizens and policymakers.
• Test new financial models through hands-on simulation exercises.

We look forward to working with these regions to advance our more inclusive financial strategies, which ensure long-term innovative investments in health promotion and disease prevention.
